These Harbor Hopping trips are excellent opportunities for experiential learning. If you have never had this kind of sailing experience, you’ll participate in all of it and see what it’s like to sail from place to place along the coast. And if you’ve sailed some, or a lot, but never pulled in to one of these harbors for the night, you’ll see how to do it. And of course, you can join just for the fun of it!

Learn brand new skills, knock the rust off, and have a new and fun experience. And at the end, you’ll feel good about chartering or taking your own boat to do this same thing. Life is good!

PRICING NOTE: prices are per cabin, not per person. When you pay for the cabin, that is the price whether for just one sailor or two sailors. Up to two sailors max per cabin.

PRIVATE CABIN NOTE: this is your cabin, and you can bring another person who will share the cabin with you. If you go solo, you’ll have more room. We have a v-berth, and an aft cabin, and the sleeping arrangement is set up for side by side, so, there are no separate bunks or partitions within the cabin.

Long Beach – Dana Point (round trip voyage)

June 8-9, 2024 (2-days)

LB – DP Voyage Plan

Day 1, depart Long Beach and fly the spinnaker as we navigate and sail down to Dana Point. Anchor in the harbor, or pull into a guest slip, with dinner ashore.

Day 2, sail the windward beat up to Long Beach past Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Seal Beach, right past the oil rigs and anchored freighters.

$799 per private cabin (up to 2 people can share the cabin for the same total price), 2 cabins available

LB – Redondo Beach – Marina del Rey

July 6-8, 2024 (3-days)
Day 1, depart Long Beach, sailing around Point Vicente on the way to Redondo Beach for the first night, with dinner ashore. Anchor or secure a guest slip.

Day 2, continue sailing and navigating to Marina del Rey, securing a guest slip for the night, with dinner ashore.

Day 3, depart MDR and fly the spinnaker as we navigate and sail all the way back down to Long Beach.

$1,199 per private cabin (up to 2 people can share the cabin for the same total price), 2 cabins available

LB – Dana Point – San Diego

July 20-21, 2024 (2-days)
Day 1, depart Long Beach and fly the spinnaker as we navigate and sail down to Dana Point. Anchor in the harbor, or pull into a guest slip, with dinner ashore.

Day 2, depart Dana Point, navigate and sail our way down to San Diego, flying the spinnaker, and securing a guest slip for the night.

$899 per private cabin (up to 2 people can share the cabin for the same total price), 2 cabins available

San Diego – Dana Point – LB

July 23-24, 2024 (2-days)
Day 1, depart San Diego and navigate the long windward sail to Dana Point. Anchor in the harbor, or pull into a guest slip, with dinner ashore.

Day 2, depart Dana Point, navigate and sail our way up to Long Beach, clean up and secure the boat.
